Achieve victory by destroying the other team's citadel. There are many ways to influence the battle: - Creep camps that drop items and fight for your team after defeat - Capture points to passively generate income or spawn minions - Quests that unlock ability points, items, and more (Humans only) - Killing enemy heroes allows gambling for powerful items (Undead only) - Directly assist your team in the primary attack lane - Purchase and upgrade spawns for your team - Participate in periodic, randomized events for various rewards - Use Portkeys to portal to distant islands, with a chance to acquire more powerful items The Astral Vault expansion: - New quest/boss - New items (Uniques, Runewords, Rare, Crafted/recipes) - New item type: Spell Tomes (uses Trinket slot in inventory) - Increased hero movement speed - Tavern rework - Additional backpack slot - Minor hero death/revive changes
