Capital City
Its original founders were the aristocrats of the Arathor nation, who had grown weary of worldly attachments such as possessions and power. They founded Lordaeron in which they could pursue a spiritual life hoping to find a higher calling. The city was first an industrial centre for the nation, but later, most of the industries were moved east so Lordaeron became solely an administrative centre. The city became the center of the Alliance of Lordaeron after Prince Galen Trollbane of Stromgarde asked for their help against New Arathor.
Capital City was built by the Arathor at the height of their power. It became the city-state and capital of a kingdom based in Tirisfal Glades that emerged after the fall of the Arathorian Empire.
